My buddy is a welder so welding new engine mounts and so on ain't problem but i have been reading that engine/carbs are too wide to fit the 600? Is there any 100% proof information about that?

FZR600 -> 1000 engine swap!
Hello need to ask this, i have trying to search about this but 98% of people was just talking about that brakes and so on couldnt handle a 1000cc FZR engine swap. Lets forget that and pretend that everything in FZR 600 is enough with 1000 engine.

Re: FZR600 -> 1000 engine swap!
Any engine can be made to fit any bike. Whether the end product is rideable is a different matter. A fellow on the Archives successfully installed a CBR900 engine (929?), another has dropped in a YZF750 plant, so large engine installs are POSSIBLE. How hard and how well is up to you and your fabrication skills.
