clutch help plz

Hi I need a little help with my clutch. Is the center clutch boss suppose to spin freely when you torque the center clutch nut? Its suppose to be 50 ft lbs but as I torque the nut down the center boss is no longer able to spin. It feels like its stuck. Is this normal?

Sounds like you're missing a spacer of some sort. Check your work area for 'spare parts'.
