thermostat and cooling fans

Noticed the bike I recently bought had no thermostat and also noticed the cooling fans never did come on after I got her running. Any body know if cooling fans come on constantly or at a certain temp., figuring a certain temp. Just wanting to make sure cooling fans are working. Also do the 600s have and over heating issues during warm weather like 90 plus degrees?

The fans don't turn on till the temp is way up there. Mine don't come on till heavy stop and go traffic being that the oil is air cooled.

I think guys that ride in warmer climates and in a lot of stop and go traffic do report high running temp concerns. Mine will runner hotter when fully fairinged up and in stop and go traffic. There is a manual cooling fan mod. I think in the WIKI if you want the ability to cycle the fan on ahead of the thero-switch.

well most likely will do a switched ckt just for the warmer weather just to keep on the safe side
