Question about FZR 600 gas cap

Does anyone know if the gas cap on the FZR 600 is similar to other newer Yamaha models? Spacing is what I need to know. I am trying to fit my Givi tank lock tank bag on my FZR. I will need the adapter ring. Hopefully it is the same as the YZF 600, or FZ1/ FZ6. If anyone has any information on that I would appreciate it.
