It might be worth 300-400. Hard to tell, but it may have sat outside for a couple years. The engine could be trashed.
It all depends on how much you want to work/spend on it. I would get it as cheap as possible. That way if you decide to part it out, you can get your money back for it.
Personally, I would buy this ::

I agree 400 is where I would start. They said they replaced the VR but it still wouldnt charge could be the stator.... blah blah blah. Yeah I wouldn't go more than 500.

Price up the parts the owner has stated it requires
Double that figure for the unforeseen problems you KNOW you will uncover.
Add to that the price of re-paint unless you can live with what it is now.
Add the above to a reasonable offer (say 425 > 500 $ )
Then ask your question again.
That R6 has to be stolen for that price !

If rebuilding it would cost too much, you could always offer $400 and keep it as a parts bike. The fairings look to be in good condition. You could sell the whole set for say $400 and keep the rest.

I was going to buy it if I could here it run for a couple of seconds or even get it to shift and raise the rpms to see if it would jump out of gear.
