The reason I'm asking this is because about a month ago my brakes were sticking (the calipers wouldn't go back in). So, I bought a set of front caliper rebuild kits ($120 w/ shipping) and took apart the calipers cleaned them and put in the new seals. Well what do you know...now the pistons won't push back out...had the calipers checked by my local Yamaha/Kawasaki dealership ( They were very nice as they checked them for me for free), well the calipers checked out and they were fine ( I didn't screw up rebuilding them

But, the pistons still wouldn't move, the dealership thought it was a master cylinder problem. So, I went out and bought a M/C rebuild kit ($50), still nothing. With the rebuilt M/C there is still very little pressure on the brake lever and the pistions still aren't moving. The rebuilt M/C is pumping out brake fluid (verified by taking the M/C off the bike and pumping the brake lever). Also, fluid is returning via the tiny "port/hole" as the lever is being pulled/released. Aslo, bought brake lines thinking mine were clogged somehow ($25).
I initially thought that there was still a lot of air stuck in my lines, so taking the advice of my fellow forum members I went out and borrowed a MityVac from my friend, who borrowed it from his friend who also borrowed it from his uncle. After running the MityVac, I could feel a fair bit of more pressure but, the pistons were still not moving...
As of now I've given up. Spent too much money on trying to get the old M/C and brake system working ($195) + ($45 for new brake pads). So now I've decided on upgrading to the newer Blue-dot caliper and M/C. Would the 1997 YZf blue dots and M/C fit on my 1993 FZR600?

Spent way too much on trying to fix the stock brakes. Should have upgraded to newer system. Would 1997 YZF600R Blue-dot and M/C work/fit on my 1993 FZR600?
-Thanks guys!
