Carburator problem

I am resurrecting my 1990 600. I took the carbs off, cleaned them and went two steps up on the main jet to work better with the Vance & Hines full exhaust. I connected everything and turned the key, I can hear the fuel pump turn on, fill the bowls then stop. Without the aid of some starting fluid, the motor will not start, also fuel starts coming out the vent tubes. I'm getting frustrated.

You have one or more stuck, damaged, or fouled float needle. You may also have pilot jets that are still fouled. It is sometimes quicker cheaper easier to simply replace the pilots, as it can be very difficult to get the tiny bores properly clear.

It was definitely a carb problem. I put on a different rack of carburetors and it started right up!
Thanks for the assistance!
