Ignition problem

Hey guys

Hoping you can help me out I'm so frustrated. Finally got my bike to turn over and the fuel pump fixed and now there's no spark. Took the boots off and the wires were shot. I managed to get the wires off by cutting through the plastic of the coils. I have 12v going to my coils for both power and signal. I've tried the ohm test with the multimeter but I'm convinced I'm doin it wrong. My battery has at least 12 volt charge and at least 9 under load. I just want to make sure that my coils are actually bad before I replace them. Any help is much appreciated
