Hi guys,
So I finally got myself to do the fork seal/rebuild with new spring being manufactured as we speak

. Called the number Y_G included in his write up and i should be picking them up tomorrow. However i'm still stuck on the long hex tool, just couldn't find the big nut needed to make the tool anywhere. So I was just wondering if there is anyone near London who would have one that i could borrow. Any help much appreciated.

If you have access to shop air (compressor) and an impact wrench and the appropriate hex socket you probably won't need the tool.
You may not anyway.
Pull the fork cap, drain the oil. Then reinstall the cap. This will use the spring as the tool..it will be preloaded against the damper rod. Break the allen screw at the bottom loose.
Dis-assemble from that point.
Assemble in reverse

As mentioned, an impact wrench might do it. If you really want to make the tool, bring the fork (no cap, drained of oil) to a hardward store and put a nut on a threaded rod and insert it. Find the nut that fits then make a tool like this.
