Hey guys,

So since the previous owner that I got the bike from didn't have anything on the front, (No headlight or fairing stay/ mounting bracket.) and now that I'm finished with almost everything, now comes the putting it back together part...and I've run into a little of a dilemma.. I don't know what bolts to use to put the mounting brackets to the frame or the headlight onto the mounting bracket. The Yamaha parts list is aren't very useful.

What Bolts/screws go here?



Same with this one.



Is there a site with the bolts/screws that I could buy from, for a resonable price? Or am I going to have to go through the dealership?

The two big bolts holding the birdcage to the frame are nothing special- i've got mine off so i'll measure them a bit later for you.

The two allen head bolts holding the clocks on again are nothing special.

The fairing bolts can be probably be got in a set off ebay but if you want originals you can get most from cmsnl.com.

The two bolts to the frame are m8 hex head with integrated washers with thread length 35mm.

The two bolts holding on the clocks have allen heads with integrated washers, m6 thread length 30mm.

I have a set of the stock headlights if that's what you're after...

I already have a set of headlights. I just need to know what but/bolt holds it onto the birdcage. Thanks anyways!

The bolts that hold the headlights to the birdcage are actually studs cast into the upper fairing.

If you don't have that, you will have to get some appropriate shoulder bolts (snug in the rubber-but not too short a shoulder to smash the rubber when the nut is tightened). I would suggest using nylock nuts so they cam be tightened enough to hold, but not compress the rubber too much.
