emulsion tube question - stock or aftermarket?

Hi all,

I posted this on FZRarchives as well, and thought I'd widen my search a little bit. Can anyone tell me if the emulsion tube pictured below is stock or aftermarket? The "crown" portion is drilled evenly, and the drilling appears to have been done during manufacturing. I've seen another picture of an emulsion tube like this one, but no indication of whether it was a stock Yamaha part, or aftermarket. I don't have a great deal of experience with the FZR600 carbs. I'm hoping someone might have some experience with these, and can point me in the right direction on setup.

That does not look stock to me. It looks like somebody drilled it themselves.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I have been waiting for a answer. I was wondering if some company sold used to sell this or something? It looks like nice drilling, I'm going to look again.

The one hole looks slightly off, oh well. I get excited when I find a product for the fzr I did not know about. I wonder if this drilling helped, or made things worse, or made no difference at all.

I'll have to go look at that one again, as well as the other three, to see if it appears that the holes were drilled by hand. At first glance, I was sure they were machine-drilled Aside from the holes, do the tops (crowns?) of the emulsion tubes appear to be stock? I was sure that I had seen pictures of other emulsion tubes that showed a cutout section at the top, but these appear solid (other than the small holes of course). Perhaps I was looking at pictures showing a tube from which the top part had already been removed.

I remember a couple years ago we had Zero's carbs apart and his tubes looked similar to that. His motor was at one point a race motor so that could be part for some stage 7 kit that isn't available anymore? Either way NOT stock.
