so, am i up the creek?

just had to try to remove everything, these cases were starting to look pretty good
gave it 3days with penetrating oil- then the screw head broke off
so i tried a screw extracter and...
my question: can i just run it without a breather plate?

sorry to observe that pic man, I would just weld this area, by building it up. As well as filling in the hole. once enoung material has been layed just drill it out and tap it with the needed thread size. It would be best to build the weld at timed stages , as not to distort the case from too much heat....

I agree, a good welder should be able to build that up. Probably cost about $100-200 though.

You still have 3 out of 4 screws. Just mount it with those and away you go.

thats what i was hoping for, i wasnt sure if it had to be an airtight pressure seal there- i was thinking plenty of red threadlocker and call it good
