Few years ago I upgraded my bike to some Gold dot calipers up front. they are to the point where they are sticking so I need to rebuild them. I think they are 2003 models, but i cant remember. Looking at parts places they list different part #'s for the blue dots and gold dot caliper seals.
I was wondering if Iwas very careful if I could just reuse the seals?

No reason why not; provided they are undamaged, not hardened and not stretched from removal.
Gently pull between forefinger and thumb nails to remove encrusted corrosion once extracted.
I resuse internal seals regularly,it was the old style external dust (diaphragm type) seals that had to be invariably replaced at service due to tearing/stretching or perishing.
Be meticulous cleaning out the seal grooves.
Some others may be able to confirm this.

Thanks. What I will do is remove them carefully and clean them up. Clean the caliper spotless and the pistons. Time for spring cleanup / tune up.

Was just going to add;I zip tie the lever back thus pressurizing the system overnight and next day double check for leaks with a tissue when doing calipers.Better safe than sorry with brakes.
