How in the heck do I remove the carb bank? I loosened the screws underneath the carbs that hold the boot on. Also took the bracket off the back side. I've used a hair dryer to warm the boots but still can't get them off. Please give me some pointers.

Never mind. I got it. Needed a little wd40 and some more persistence. Those buggers are on there good!

If the boot clamps are loose the carbs are probably just stuck to the rubber (haven't been removed in a long time)...
Rocking them (side to side and back and forth) will loosen them up and they'll pop out.

I suspect that you will have to do the hair dryer trick again when you decide to put them back on. I've had to do it multiple times.
Chris.

Yea I figure putting them on ill have to use the hair dryer or just roll it out in the Arizona sun for a bit. The bike had been in storage for about 8 years and my buddy I got it from said it only got about 14 mpg due to the jet kit. It started right up but figure ill pull the carbs and clean them.
