first fzr600, first bike

hey there picked up my first fzr which is my first bike, come from the car scene. introduced myself already so thought id start a post here with pics and small progress.

I bought the bike about 2 weeks ago from a guy who had it sitting for a few years.

bought a bike stand right away as well

cleaned the carbs on thankgiving and started painting fairings becuase i didnt want an all black bike.

yea i tend to stick with this color lol going to paint the wheels teal. like to change it up.

have some pics with the rear cut also

here are some of the steps i took when cutting the rear fairings. tend to forget to post stuff up on here.

taped out the cut, also picked up a tail light and blinkers from an 09 cbr rr 1000

here's the fairings mounted up so knew what parts of the bike to cut off

I really like how the tail came out! Hopefully you can post a few pictures showing the whole bike.
