FZRSupport: the FZROnline Archive

Hello everyone, I am a newbie here on thissite, but was on "FZR Archives" for a bit when i bought my 1997 FZR600 about four years ago. I still have that bike, it is reaching 19,000 miles with absolutely no issues since i brought it back to original condition 16,000 miles ago. I happened upon a pretty nice 1995 at a decent price, so bought it to fix up. It has a few hopefully minor issues to resolve. I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of their 1995 they could post, email me, or tell me where to find online. I think someone replaced the plastic around the headlights, as it is all black and i think it is supposed to have some red or purple on it. Are 1995 double headlight, as this one has the two round ones. Also, the ram-air tubes are currently red, and i think they are supposed to be black. I want to turn the bike back to original. And finally, has anyone had any luck powder coating FZR rims? Does it hold up to brake fluid, as a P.O. ruined one rim's paint by leaking brake fluid on it. Thanks and looking forward to getting some pics on here and creating a profile when i have time....

Nice link Hybrid. Unfortunately, since that's a U.K. based site, the '94+ FZR600s that they show are the the Foxeye models (which is the same bike as the U.S. '95 / '96 YZF600).

You can click on the picture for a higher res version. It's kind of tough to see, but, on the black model, there is definitely red on the front and possibly even gray. Hope that helps!
