Getting annoyed with having to change out at least 1 bulb every couple of months. Is there a 1157 LED i can just drop in to the tail light? Don't care about the flasher side because i don't have turn signals on my bike and its not required in Texas. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're eating up tail bulbs, then either the mounting is off (too stiff = too much vibration; too soft = too much flailing) or your VRR is dying and your electricals are running too high a voltage. Measure the DC volts across the battery terminals at 5k rpm - you don't want to see more than 14.5vdc.

I know its too stiff since I have the R1 conversion tail light setup and the shock absorber rubbers are not there. Thats why I want to go with LED's.

I agree with DonTZ125 your charg system is not acting right...and those bulbs are a big joke, made with cheap materials......check the charge at the batt with engine off, should be min of 12.0 to 12.5 vdc, then start it up and do the same check, should see between 13.5 to no more than 15.0 vdc, any higher and the system has a faulty VR, or bad stator, most likely the VRR
