1992 FZR 600 wont rev past 6k

Recently picked up this fizzer. She needs some more attention still but so far I've cleaned the gas tank, new fuel filter, new plugs, took the carbs off and cleaned them, got a new battery, got most of the lights working. It finally starts and idles however when I (while not driving) try to quickly rev it up to high RPMs it bogs out at around 6k. When I gently pull the throttle back it well go to redline but spits a little in the process. I'm fairly new to working on bikes and I'm not sure what to try next. The bike has 2 K&N filters (one filter covers 2 carbs) and on each carb one jet was a 126 and I couldn't read the other one but it seemed to have a double digit number. I was thinking it could be the filters I have or maybe emulsion tubes? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Messed around with the bike some more and found that the #3 cylinder isnt firing. The header pipe is cold there when the others were hot as %$#@. This was just at idle. I haven't ridden it and checked it. Also, the bike starts right up and idles around 1k without the choke engaged and when I use the choke the bike shuts off. WTH? I guess I need to take a look at emulsion tubes, syncing the carbs and the plugs/wires. My friend's dad is a motorcycle mechanic so I'm taking the carbs off to bring to him tomorrow to check them out and he's going to use the ultrasonic cleaner on them. Anything else I should check?

Got the carbs back. Bike runs a lot better however now I have gas leaking out of the left side carb vent tube.

Finally!! Replaced the needle valve in #2 carb and no more gas leak and smooth revving to redline. This thing sounds BEAST!
