'95 FZR600 Starting issue,

I've got an 95 FZR600 with just over 23k miles on it. History goes.... Bought the bike about 3 or 4 months ago with 17.4k on it. Since day one we've had issues starting it. After a mishap, the bike was left with the lights on all night (about 1 month ago) and killed the battery, so we replaced it. Also replaced all the fuses at that time. Found the ignition connector was corroded inside, so I cleaned it...and suddenly the bike would start every time! This lasted until about 10 days ago where it would have the same exact symptoms. Good battery and voltage, would crank over but not fire. Sometimes I get lucky and it will start 2/5 times, but most times it I have to push start it. (runs fine after being push started)
I figured I'd check the ignition connector tonight, and it looked as clean as after I cleaned it the first time. Also topped of the electrolytes in the battery. I've also noticed that after I ride it around for a while, I can get 30 or so seconds of turning the motor over with the starter, but after sitting overnight, I can only get about 7 if I'm lucky.
IDK if relevant, but I've noticed that when I trier the brake lights, my headlights and neutral light dim unless I'm running high RPMS. I tried pulling the ground off the engine to clean it, but I couldn't get a wrench in there, nor any decent angle with a socket... (I've always chalked this up to Yamaha and their weak electrical systems)

But anyway, any directions I could head in? I'm relatively knowledgeable about mechanics, but I'm self taught and I'm an 80's Honda guy, so bear with me.

Sounds like a Classic Regulator Rectifier issue!

I have not have this problem on my FZR, but had a RR go bad on an older Suzuki and same thing; Would run fine, sometimes start with starter, but eventually i had to push start it every time... Replaced the RR and was good to go.

Lots of resources and experience regarding the Regulator Rectifier for these bikes, just search and let us know if this was the issue.

Good Luck!

Also, I had looked around before posting, just wanted to be 100% sure cause the symptoms weren't 100% the same. Thank you ^_^
