first thing i was thinking about changing the yoshimura slip-on it has (sounds really nice but its loud)

to a yzf 750 oem muffler (it feels quite heavy)
am i gonna loose any power ?

next i have to left mirror on my bike and i cant see sh*t behind me
i could get some ebay mirror with the integrated turning like these one

i cant seem to get the speed im going since its bouncing so im thinking about getting a digital speedometer
i would like to get a gear indicator too

the bike is in good condition beside when is 1st gear and bellow 3-4k rpm its like i would try to come off a stop in 3rd gear in a car and it doesnt seem like its supposed to do that

You could get the mirrors with the turn signals, but any cheap mirror will shake and be almost worthless. The best alternative are the EMGO YZF600 mirrors - wider and incredibly stable.

As far as a Gear Indicator, there are none that work with the FZR - that I know of - other than a company out of the UK, but he is no longer making them. Most newer units rely on tach and speedometer pulses. Since the FZR uses a cable and not an electronic pulse, that would not work. That being said, I do believe that some FZR riders have incorporated a speedo reading device, but they had to drill the engine case.

i did install the yzf muffler but it started to rain so i didnt got a chance to take it for a spin

The first one you have listed is really the worst one I have seen yet. Looks like a total hack job on the motorcycle.

Some people on here have used the second one as you show, but I believe they have been able to use most everything except the gear position indicator.

The guy in the UK who made them specifically for the FZR modified the neutral switch to act more like a real gear position switch that is used on newer Suzuki's and Kawasaki's.

I wanted a Gear Indicator at first but then i learned a trick:

In 1st Gear the RPMs seem to be really high!
In 2nd Gear there is a loud whine!
and
In 6th Gear i can't get it into a higher gear...

3rd-5th is really just a guess half the time.

went on a 400km ride this sunday without doing a checkup before (i know its stupid but i dont know how to check things on the bike yet) but the bike did run strong for the whole ride without overheating (it was 30c)

im so proud of my purchase it runs really well for the price i paid for it, i think i would need to clean the carb as it doesnt go well under 3k rpm and change the fork seal in the front and i should be able to have a reliable bike for next summer

My front headlight arent working anymore...decided to change the lightbulb but still doesnt, checked the connection, the fusebox everything seem fine i have no clue on what to do now.

Anyone could help me with this one?

The right hand switch, the one with your kill switch, has a blue wire that gets corroded pretty easily. When my lights quit working i checked that first and viola. The same wire goes over to the highbeam switch too so if no luck at first trace it over there too.

The problem was that the weld on the hi/low switch for the blue wire gave up so for now i got two wire together to get the light when the key is turned on! Couldnt get the wire welder to work

I changed the mirror i can see behind me now and it updated the look of my fzr

If you want a digital speedo and a gear indicator that will work on the FZR go for a Acewell 3252, the gear indicator you will have to initially set as it computes engine revs/speed. Just a matter of entering the menu and pressing a button on the unit in each gear as you ride once to set it up. You can get a hall effect speedo cable to go with it that is a direct replacement for the mechanical one. Price £125 for the speedo and £26.99 for the speedo cable.
