I've noticed! I'm from gixxer.com where I'm used to a lot more traffic. Not many hanging around FZRs these days I reckon  I'm getting anxious about starting this 600 up. I'm really excited to bring it to life!

Few questions for ya. I've attached a couple of pictures to reference too.

There are a total of three cables exposed right now. One is the choke, one is the throttle, and the third isn't even connected to anything. What is it supposed to be used for?

What is the fuel regulator dial used for with 5 1/2 settings? I'm assuming what it leads to next is the fuel filter with the arrow pointing in the flow of the system? I'm replacing all of the fuel lines, pump, and filter.

Lastly I see the coolant hose sticking out of the transmission. What is it supposed to connect to? I'm not really sure where the hell it's supposed to go!

As far as the regulator goes, I really have no idea to be honest.
But for the cables, you should have two cables that are attached to the carburetor. On for push one for pull ( throttle and return)

Do you have a pic of said hose to the transmission?

Also, what does the other end of the third disconnected cable run into? The only thing I can think of that requires a cable is the clutch. Looking at your picture, the angle suggests that that's what it is But is far too short to reach the handle

The hose I'm talking about is in the first picture the the right of the silver dial. Can take a better one if need be.

I'll have to do more research about the push/pull deal. Never dealt with carbs before. That would certainly explain what it is. I just didn't know about it since it had already been disconnected. it truly isn't hooked up to anything lol

Those circled are your carb push pull cables.

Trace that other cable out. I suspect it goes to the clutch. Thinking about the other tube, I'm having a hard time imagining the placement but I think that may be your crank case breather tub.

Ok cool, that clears it up some :cheers Once I get the crab float bowl gaskets replaced it may be easier to piece together.

The clutch cable is hooked up to the front sprocket cover still, I haven't disconnected it. Honestly I have no idea how this model is supposed to function lol

What the heck is that regulator and big honkin' thing with the "flow" arrow? Did the PO put in fuel injection components, but left the carbs?

That 3rd throttle cable looks like the oil injector cable from an RZ350 - not something you'd normally find on a 4-stroke!

So after I got home not too long ago, the device with the flow arrow in the fuel pump. The fuel regulator? I have absolutely no idea. I took it all out to trash. Got the battery and fuel pump in today. Hooked the battery up and there is no power to the starter or the speedo/tach... Investigate further and find out that the some PO crammed blinker wires into the hookup to the speedo/tach and just wrapped it with electrical tape.

Now I have the pleasure of walking through this spider's nest of SHIT.

I hope miller posts some pics up of his project and how well it's coming along. I need a motivator lol

So here's what you do. Get a screw driver and cross from the hot wire ( big red one) to the signal wire on the solenoid. That should make it crank over

Honestly, I'm at a stand still for my project. I'm waiting for a new regulator, turn signals and mirrors to come in while I'm waiting on my fairings to be built. In going to sync my carbs here in a day or two and try and get it running smoothly again. Still waiting on my brake master cylinder to get here still too. Mrcycles is sure taking their sweet time with that
