To rebuild or to rig and ride...that's the question for YOU!

FZR600 Forum

What would YOU do: to rebuild ground-up, or to fix and go...

At this point, just take everything out, go through it screw-by-screw, and build a reliable and custom (polished and powder-coated) bike.

I'm pretty flashy myself. One of my cars is orange/white scheme and I originally wanted to have my bike match. But now I was thinking Orange with wrinkle black frame.

here's a white frame Image

ooooooooh I love that Malrboro FZR! I didn't even realize that its frame was white though! Definitely works. ClapHands props on an orange paint-scheme for your car! The Wrangler that I built back when I was 16 ended up with General Lee Orange and Gloss Black paint. Loved the color. My Mustang is factory Lazer Red. I'm a sucker for a flashy ride. haha :king

+111 THAT IS SEXY!!!!!

If you have the money to do the full tear down and rebuild it, DO IT! Youll feel alot better when you finally get it done than riding it half ass, I mean come on guys even though its a Fizz, there is one more FZR that will be treated right, lets not be a bad influence on this guy... Do everything you wanna do to it cuz when you finally get it on the road you wont have to worry about problems with it, if you have a problem youll most likely know what it is. If you really wanna ride this season go get a Ninja 250 and sell it next year when you get your FZR on the road... But its your bike, you make the decision.. banghead

I like it so much I'm tempted to nearly copy the whole thing! I'm deciding on a deeper candy red with a white frame and decal work. I'm also planning on including some basic black graphics or striping to compliment the lines of the R1 body. Damn I wish I knew how to use photoshop so I could draw up some drafts (cough cough :whistle )

Let me know what you guys think! Cruisin

Solid White with Red accents would be kick ass too, Only reason I say that is this guy put alot of work into it to make it a one of a kind= So just use the idea from his dont steal it lol Fluff

Naw!! I'd never steal the whole thing! Like I said, I'll be using black in collaboration with my dark red (think '07 R6 red).... Just stealing the idea of the white frame and rims... really makes it pop. :bunny :banjoman
