On your photobucket account; I had a bit of a job with the mobile version you are using and struggled to go to your home account,but once there I choose your pic and copied the direct link.
I dont think the mobile version has that option.

So, I gathered that it was definitely an electrical problem. So, i figured for shits and gigles i would turn all the lights off in the garage and turn her over a few times. Sparks like the fourth of july! I am guessing this is the computer? One of the leads was arching with another and causing the hard start and throttle issue. I have not street tested it yet, but i have high hopes!

Wow, is that ugly ... Pull that mess off, tape it up carefully, then go for a test ride. If that solves the problem, I can sell you a pigtail to replace that junk with a proper connector. See the link in my sig for more info.

yes!!! that was the problem! I replaced all the connectors to it, just in case. Just got back from a 20 mile run, she didnt sputter once. Thanks for all the help guys! Just need to get the carbs tuned, and shell be ride-able all day!

i have a motobatt battery in her now, MBTZ10U. 10 volt battery, it was what came with the bike. Is that sufficient or should i get a 12V battery in its place. I found a 12V mottobatt with these specs, are they okay to use on my FZR600?

The "10" in MBTZ10U is a reference to the battery's amperage rating-NOT it's voltage.

It's got six cells right? 1.5volts per cell makes it a 12V battery

Six cells x 1.5 volts = 9 Volts, I think you meant 6 x 2.1V = 12.6V, Even the master makes mistakes

Thanks guys for all the help. But, yet another problem! I went to start it today and it turned over started and ran great but the headlight and cluster lights were off. I have been searching the forum and seen people replacing there vr with one from a r6 or r1. One of the terminals on my vr was burnt as hell. Im pretty sure thats the problem, based on what ive read so far on similar issues. Still have some investigating to do, but i would want to swap it out if i could with an R6 or R1 vr. Does anyone know if it is the same configuration or if i have to do some work to swap them, and if a procedure exists on how to do it, where is it?

What you would be buying is THIS, the original fry-o-matic VRR that has caused so much cost, damage, and heartache over the years.

That's one of the things that I sometimes hate about ebay - "Item may not be as shown in the picture", especially when the picture looks NOTHING like the item in question!

The VRR currently on your bike is the device you want, but I'm not sure that it hasn't been ruined by the arcing between the bad DIY terminal job.

I sell connector adaptors and pigtails to replace messes like you have, but perhaps THIS ebay listing is even better - brand new VRR, plus the mating connector to crimp on to the wires, for less $$ than you'd pay for the R6 VRR plus one of my pigtails.

You definitely need to do something about those wires, too - there's way too many kinks and bends for my happy place ...
