5 Weeks and 1,100 Miles Later

Post by FazerChick »

Hello All,

5 weeks ago I purchased a used 1999 FZR 600 with 7,500 miles as my first bike and I am happy to say I did 1,100 miles on it!! I love riding the bike and I am so happy about my purchase; I would recommend this bike to anyone. After a few days of having the bike I took it in for maintenance. I had the shop replace all of the fluids, new front tire and redo the front fork. When I picked up the bike, it felt amazing!!!! Now, I am bringing in the bike to have the Carburetors cleaned on Tuesday and have the bike tuned. I can’t wait to get it back and try it out.

Does anyone here ride on Long Island, I am looking to make friends and find new road?
I want to learn how to do some of my own maintenance, what manual would you recommend?

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and have a great day.

Glad to hear your having fun with your FZR.

The only Service Manual to buy is the OEM Yamaha Service Manual.
