forged pistons ??

Would like to get my self a small turbo fitted in the future and thinking about changing the pistons any info would be great do I even need to change them ? are the standard pistons and rods up for the job ?

Are you doing the work yourself? What are your goals? If it is for more power then it would be cheaper and quicker to buy a used R1. If this is your hobby then enjoy. Most people go with Wiseco pistons and they used to make them for the FZR. Not anymore unless you order 10 sets.

Thanks buddy yea just something I enjoy doing :) yea will be doing all of the works my self hoping it gies well I have 2 3he engines to play with so have a back up haha
