I have a '94 FZR 600. I'm going back to stock on the jets and needles because the PO had a jet kit in it. My question is, the needles he has in (from the kit) have those plastic orange-tan looking donut shaped plastic pieces on them. The stock needles he took out just have the clips on. When I put the stock needles back in I need the Needle, the clip, that donut shaped piece and a washer before they go into the slides correct? Can I just take those donut pieces off the kit needles and put them on the stock ones or no?
Thank you!

Are you referring to the nylon shims?

Yes; I think you can.
I believe the aftermarket kits come without the nylon washer/spacer and you fit the existing genuine part to the kit
that is installed; therefore they are the original parts anyhow.
You cannot buy the nylon part separate regardless; they are sold as part of the needle assembly.

Sent from my keyboard using the English language not some teen text shite from a fooking phone.

I tried to switch them, but the nylon washer only goes up like 3/4 of the way. Not all the way to the clips. Assuming I need to get new needles all together..?
