NEAUTRAL LIGHT, RPM METER AND TURN SIGNALS STOPPED WORKING.

Post by jayparkeroni »

okay so I'm riding a 96' Fxr. The head piece was slightly bent in due to a tip. So whenever i turn the handle bars all the way to the right the left fork would pop the left cover behind the left headlight. I tried to take it of and right after doing so, left headlight stopped working. I pushed the fuse or whatever it is in a bit and the left light works but now all the stuff listed in the subject stopped working.. can someone help?

Jay first off we, or at least I, need to get calibrated to what you are calling things on your bike since what you have above is not very common lingo at least to me anyway. The head piece is that the front fairing or more specifically the metal structure that supports the front fairing commonly referred to as the bird cage.? The fuse or whatever you are referring to behind the left headlight is that simply the electrical plug where it attaches to the headlight bulb.?

Are you blowing the fuse that services this circuit.? Check the wiring diagram in the wiki. I pretty sure all these courtesy lights and your tacho are driven off the same fuse/circuit.
