Float bowl height??

Does anybody know what the float bowl height should be?? And how do you determine that height? And where do you measure from?? Any and all help is appreciated.

Im havin an issue. Thiught it was ignition. But i dont think so anymore. Reason being i shut the fuel off to run the carbs out and it died within a minute. My other bike bike takes at least 5 min to empty the carbs. Which float bowl hieght bein wrong would explain a few things. Everything is new on the ignition side and fuel pump is workin. But low fuel bowl height would explain miss at mid to high rpm cruising. Any thoughts??

Running out in under a minute when you shut off the fuel suppy is normal. I would not mess with float bowl height unless you are absolutely sure that is your issue. It is set at the factory and really should not be messed with.

Your issue is probably not with theignition but rather a jetting adjustment to the carb.
