I just bought a 1992 FZR600 with about 7000 miles on it. It runs great and everything seems to work on it except for one weird starting issue. When its cold, it'll start up every time without a problem. However when its warm (i.e. just been ridden for a while), when I turn the key from OFF to ON, nothing happens. No lights light up or anything. If I wait about 5 or 10 minutes and then turn the ignition from OFF to ON, everything comes on like it should and the bike starts easily.
Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Is this behavior common to FZRs?

Re: Weird Starting Issues
Pull your ignition switch and check for shorts or damaged wires in or near the connector. You may need to strip the switch and clean the contact disk and wiper of gunge and corrosion.
Don't ignore the problem - this is serious damage waiting to happen.
