I plan on replacing my oil pan gasket this weekend and I am finding conflicting info online. I got a new gasket (see link)
So do you seal with a gasket sealer or other product?

Re: To seal or not to seal
No. A light film of clean motor oil will prevent it from sticking to the metal, making clean-up easier next time, but that's my preference. The manual makes no mention of sealant for the oil pan or gasket.
