carb sync

Post by mossyoakboy »

hey guys I just got my first bike and it is a 91 fzr 600.... I need to know how to sync th carbs the right way and I do have the carb sync tool so I do not have to make one.... im not a super good diy mechanic but I can usually figure it out but the more its dumbed down the easier it is... im also a visual learner so pictures help more than words generally

and also when I got the bike there was a large amount of gas in the oil so I changed the oil and the guy I bought it from said that the carbs needed cleaned and that it was probably a stuck float or needle and once I took the carbs apart none of the floats or needles were stuck but I cleaned it all up anyway.... does any body know what may have caused that to happen???

ive checked that page more than once... and most of the guys are using homemade carb syncs but I actually have the Carbtune Pro system and I have never used it ... its my dads but he is letting me barrow it. is there somewhere on here that talks about how to use this particular system or one close to it??

does the screw connect to the bottom of the carb and the bowl outline go around it, cause if so then I think I found it or is it one the bottom of the bowl itself??
