It's almost as if every time I get on the bike, I get filled with fear of dropping it, and always end up doing what I fear. It's always with sharp right turns; I've never dropped it on its left side. (which I'm thinking is because my left leg is stronger, as it's dominant) I really... really.. don't want to get rid of my bike, especially after just going through all that work of painting it the way I wanted it to look, and with it being my first bike, I'd feel like I'm giving up, but I might just have to.

Mate I would perservere until your confidence increases......now if u were dropping it at high speed every right turn then yes maybe i would consider giving it away ...... but its only slow speed stuff so Id be avoiding getting in that situation as much as possible.....even go find somewhere with a soft landing and practice WOOT

Most people look awkward at very slow speeds .....dont give up yet ,just go fast all the time! :yutugh2:

Thanks Brandon; you went pretty deep into detail, and thats much appreciated. I feel like I may be going to go with a dual sport until I get the confidence to jump back on my FZR. I really do love my FZR, and would definitely hate to give it up for good. I never thought to get into dual sport until you mentioned going off on a trail when I wanted. Sounds like what I'd be into. Do you have any preferred brands and models for dual sport? I don't want anything that looks too dirt bike-ish.

Edit: @GreyImport I see what you're saying, and it's absolutely correct. I can manage the bike very well at high speeds, but when going 10mph or under, everything that can go wrong, tends to go wrong. I'll re-work up my confidence on a bike that I haven't grown to fear, then I'll go back to my FZR. I don't know what happened; I used to jump on the fizzer with no fear at all, and everything would go fine, but now, all of a sudden, I'm dropping it every time I have it out. Everyone is telling me it's because I've developed a fear.

They all look "dirt bike-ish" since they're basically just a dirt bike that's street legal. You can always go with a Super Moto. That is something that I REALLY want. They still have a dirt bike look, but with street tires and wheels, and a few other mods, they look sick. And are more fun to ride than just about anything out there.

Tell me this thing isn't rad...
