Clutch Cable SNAP!!

Post by pnbell »

A bit of a funny story:

This weekend i noticed my clutch lever felt looser than normal:
"probably stretched, i'll have to adjust it"
Then last night i'm riding my friend's FZR600, and tell him:
"I don't like your clutch lever, your's should feel like mine"
Go over to my bike, pull the lever and 'SNAP'!!!
"Ok, well not exactly like mine, i guess...."

So anyway it broke in my garage, the best place it could have snapped really... and now i need to replace it.

Are 'motionpro' cables basically the best option? OEM? any experiences?

*I also posted this as a warning to others!!!

I have been using motion pro cables on all my bikes for years. I like them very much, they get good reviews.

I've used motion pro cables for years and they always work great. On a side note I had something similar but it was my clutch lever that snapped :whistle
