hello all,
Hopefully this is an easy one. I bought a 75-600 vapor kit. It has a resistor in the tach cable. I was hoping to tap into a coil wire but I'm not sure which one. Any one have any experience with this?
Thanks
Shane

Re: which coil wire for vapor gauge?
Here's an update for anyone who needs the answer in the future.
Rap the positive wire around the coil 5 times like the instructions say. Set PPR to .05 and it should be spot on. Shout out to Justin at Trail Tech for answers.

Thanks!
What are your thoughts about it? Do you like the look and read out?

Re: which coil wire for vapor gauge?
Let me throw out my disclaimer first.
I am a noob and haven't actually ridden my bike yet.
Ok,Once I adjusted the angle I can read it no problem. Once the dashboard comes in I will post some pics. At first, I was going to fab something up for the idiot lights but figured the dash would be cheaper. Once I adjusted the PPR the RPMs work as good as the stocker. The temp sensor does screw right into the stock sensor location and once the vapor is reset it reads fine. I can't speak on the speedometer yet but it was easy to install. Just bolt in the magnetic nut and mount the sensor. All and all I think it is a great deal. Plus, as all the reviews say, the customer service is awesome.
