96 fzr600 sputters at fulll throttle

Hey guys, ive got a 96 fzr 600. Today i let a buddy ride the bike, and when it came back, i went for a ride. The bike runs perfect, except when running past 3/4 or full throttle. It almost seems as if it is running on 3 cylinders. Another thing is that sometimes i can go through 2-3 gears without any issue. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Problems in that throttle range would indicate an issue in the main circuit of the carbs. Check to make sure the jets (both fuel AND air) are gunk-free. Are all passageways clean? Run fishing line through every one them. Are your slides/diaphragms in good shape (move freely, no tears)? How about fuel filter, air filter...
