Hello everyone!
I'm finally back on the bike after i crashed it against my garage's wall trying to push-start it. Amongts my other parts and a head rebuild I changed the instrument cluster, and the one i have now seems to be from a more recent bike than my 89.
this is the one i have now
and i can't find a pic of the one that was on the bike before, but the dial faces were slightly bigger and the dial covers were glass instead of plastic.
Trouble is the speed it reads out is way, WAY higher than the actual speed i'm travelling at. Is there any way to fix this? is it possible to recalibrate the instrument cluster or do i need another sender unit from a newer bike? Or should i just attatch a cyclocomputer and be done with it?
Thanks a lot in advance for the responses!

I have a set of the old ones and the set like the one in the picture
the scale is different the gaps between the 10 20 30 ect
you might be able to fit your old mph dials in to the new clusster they all come apart
really easy
Not much help Si
