air filter

89 fzr600 getting it ready for the road. No airbox, just naked carb intakes. Looking for suggestions for air filter. K&n or what are good choices for air filters

I have a UNI foam filter...its washable and reusable...

Grab a stock air box, then buy a K&N filter. You could use pods but then you will need to Jet that baby, fairly tiresome by all accounts
You can lead a THIRSTY horse to water, you cant make the THIRSTY horse drink, if it don't drink shoot it.

I love my K&N and it was worth the money. I just clean and recharge it every year.
