waddaya think

Post by fzrjon »

hi folks, i have been on the old forum for a while now and started looking at this one recently.(was jon565 on old 1) any way i finished my bike recently and just thought i would add some pics spanning the time from when i first got the bike to now.

Image

when i first bought it

Image

after i had fixed the plasitcs

Image

painted it my self just to get it on the road and ridin

ImageImageImageImage

as you can see i did the r6 tail and thundercat tank, bit of work but well worth doin. i am well pleased with how it turned out.
hardest part was deciding on colours. rear is super red (toyota) and its a vw/audi pearl black. got the idea from 'abs' project bike on the old site.

let me no what you think :headbang:

Welcome to the forum, be sure to fill out your location information etc under the User Control Panel.

Nice colors, nice work on the bike. Looks brand new compared to when you got it.

Nicely done! Now all that's left is swapping out those mirrors so you can see all the people behind you gawking at your new bike.

yeah those mirrors do suck. appreciate the +ive comments by the way. does anyone no if thundercat clocks work on the fzr. i would like the fuel sender in the tank to work cos of having no reserve on these tanks. i have seen the r6 clocks conversion on here but its quite alot more work. :yuck:

Really good job. I went back and forth for a couple of weeks on the color of my bike. Since its been painted I have picked out a few more colors I like but oh well.

Looks like everything lined up perfect for ya. Go ahead and try the R6 Gauges, I have them and they work great.

Good job, she went a long way. Not sure about the whole red rocket paint scheme though. But to each his own
