is Jetting necesary for Cobra F1s slip on?

Post by Fizzr600 »

So i want to get a slip on for the soul purpose of it sounding nicer and being louder. I know these

http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/enthu ... egoryCode=

are for a different bike but do you think that the cobra F1s exhaust for the fzr 600 would be the same and not require rejetting? i absolutely dont want to rejet. it's to much money and time i dont have. here is the one im considering buying

BTW this is my first post on this forum and my first motorcycle.

I wouldn't worry about it with a slip-on. If it were a full exhaust system, then you might need to consider it.

I've just gotten mine from a local dealer that's a parts unlimited dealer. They sell some fiberglass repacking material for about $10
