Chain Help
I picked up my first FZR. I have been puting it back together and the only thing that im missing is a chain. The chain that came with it doesnt fit. Can anyone help me with where to go to get a cheap chain to be used on mine FZR. Or if anyone has an extra one that they are willing to sell, I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Chain Help
The cheapest O-ring chains I have seen were on Ebay... around $60 I think. I know that Western Power Sports has some decent heavy duty O-ring chains in the $100 range... unfortunately there isn't really a such thing as a cheap O ring chain. Roller chains are really cheap, but I wouldn't put one on an FZR. They wont last nearly as long, and from my personal inspections ( I work at a cycle shop ) the links on O ring chains are thicker which would lead me to believe they are stronger as well.

Re: Chain Help
Hi,
No matter what chain you fit it will wear QUICKER unless mounted on new sprockets as well. putting a new chain on old sprockets is just VERY false economy.
