May be Selling Bike

Post by gt5094stang »

Like the title says i'm thinking of selling the bike and getting something different.....still a toss up but here's what i have done to the bike: rebuilt carbs, new high mount yoshi rs3 exhaust, f3 conversion rear 17" tires, new rear wheel bearings, new stem bearings, harness gone through and fixed where needed, new VR, airtech solo tail with LEd brake light, raceing springs in the forks, HID kit, R6 brake upgrade, fresh paint, new coil packs and pluggs. 26k miles

Any idea what i can get for the bike???

The FZR will generally be purchased by a younger rider who is purchasing their first sport bike. With summer over, it's a bad time to sell, but with your mileage I would say $1800-2000.

Not sure on the UK dealer, but that is a modified Airtech tail. It comes with a squared off rear end to match the stock tail light. To get that look (seen on the bike above), you will need a 03-05 R6 tail light, matching under tail and fiberglassing skills.
