just cleaned carbs, but cyl #3 not firing HELP

Post by keppdogg »

I took out the plug for #3 and it has spark
took off the carbs and cleanned out, reassembled, bench synced it
it starts and idles, but runs ruff. like not hitting on all cyls
spray water on each exaust header and you can tell that #3 is not as hot as the other 3

Is this a elec prob or fuel??
any ideas would be great

I'm having a similar issue on mine, but mine starts firing under acceleration. When you cleaned the carbs, did you take a fishline and clean out the jets?

could be dirty jet, or stuck float, possibly could be internal as far as valve might be floating and not holding compression. if you give it gas does it stumble or rev normally?
