fzr600r hard start, wont shift without stalling

okay i own a fzr600r and i went to start it today and it was a really hard start but i got it to start. next i tried to put it in first and as soon as i did it stalled, and its does this everytime but it ran fine yesterday. any advice?

Could be a few things. Sudden hard starts are often tight valve clearances - the weather changes, and the engine just doesn't want to play anymore.

The sudden stall going into first could be the sidestand switch - disconnect it and jumper the connector on the bike harness to test this.

Another possibility for both problems might be a clutch that's slipped out of adjustment.

this will sound dumb, but i know why now it was because the stand was still down as i tried to put it in gear but i got it thanks
