after markert peanut cover ?
1989 fzr 600 candy silver base coat, black frame ,voltage up-grade amoung much more
Re: after markert peanut cover ?
Nope because the link doesn't work. The only after market companies for them were NRC, Yoshi I believe made a few, Traksport (which is pretty much an NRC) and then there were a handful of another kind but when I asked around they were made up by a racer.

Whats so special about these aftermarket covers? Stronger to resist breaking incase of lay down?

Should be one of the first upgrades you buy for your FZR. The stock peanut cover is really a piece of garbage. If you just lay the bike over at a stand still, chances are real good your peanut cover is toast. These aftermarket ones by NRC and others can generally handle slides. They're required for racing, but should also be required for Track Days.Kyle844 wrote:Whats so special about these aftermarket covers? Stronger to resist breaking incase of lay down?

clean the paint off & add weld to fill the gouges to give the cover back some semblance of its original strength & then use filler if required for the minor scratches before painting.
