need help

so i replaced the voltage regulater/rectifier and replace the battery and still nothing when i go to start it the lights go out the oil light comes on and it makes a clicking sound just like before what is wrong with it if anyone knows thanks

The chattering solenoid means that your entire system right up to the solenoid is working correctly, with the possible exception of the battery - a new battery charged by a moron at WalMart is no longer a new battery, but rather a candidate for the recycling bin.

Can you bump start it?

Can you boost it from a car? (engine OFF! as previously mentioned)

There have been several 'damn thing won't start!!' threads of late (you'd think it was spring, or something... ), several of which have featured issues such as you describe. Do a search, see what comes up.
