what are the steps needed to do the swap. If you could please help i have been serching on line and can not find much on it. Thank you

There was an adaptor on EBay, but they're asking the same price as Ron Ayers.

Unless I've completely screwed myself up, it literally is unbolt the old filter & housing, and bolt on the new.



(20 minutes of googling later) - Ok, once again Don talks out his backside; there is in fact 3mm of milling to be done. I had checked part numbers earlier, and missed the fact that the '89-90 crankcase is 3HE-15100-01-00, while the '91+ crankcase is 3HE-15100-10-00. According to this post by Dru86 over on the Archives http://www.fzrarchives.com/ipb/index.ph ... t&p=382999, you need to mill down either the center boss in the filter area on the crankcase, or make a suitable socket in the adaptor plate.
