Brake caliper adapters

Post by olie05 »

Is anyone making (and selling) brake caliper adapters to fit the later FZR600 calipers (100mm bolt spacing?) to fit 320mm front rotors?

I'm interested in doing this when I get new rotors. The way I see it, what's the point of keeping the stock size ones when the larger ones cost about the same?

100mm is the same as the yamaha blue spot calipers isn't it? i know they fit the fzr 400 without any mods. not sure on 600 though as the disk are a bit smaller on 400 i think,

He's not talking about the caliper fitting the bike. He's going to a larger diameter rotor which means he needs to move the mounting of the caliper itself.

No one makes anything for the FZR. You would need to design it yourself.

ok... I guess I'll have to make some. I'll probably make some extra to lower the machining cost.
