Help with parts

Post by wamearth »

Hey guys,

I am almost done rebuilding my 1995 FZR 600, but I am looking for a place online to buy plug wires, a drive chain that is not going to kill my checkbook. The local dealer said the chain was over $200 and didnt list the plug wires. can someone give me an idea where to go for these parts? Also on these bikes is the throttle cable and idle cable push or pull type?

http://WWW.bikebandit.com for chain and plug wires. I will get with my local dealership for wires. Iirc my wires were like 45$ that website will get you part numbers. Then check eBay after that. Throttle is 2 cable. Push and pull. Chris.

Get the chain from Ebay for about half that including sprockets.

There are two throttle cables, push and pull.

The wires weren't sold separately from the coils, but ordinary HT lead wire should work. One of the rebuild gurus could probably comment more intelligently. You could buy a coil set from ThatKid (I see you've already hit him up for a fuel cap in his thread), which would come with leads. Depending on the cost of the cabling, it might actually be cheaper that way!

...or you could do away with the HT leads all together and go for the f4i coil mod.
