Another Option for Mirrors.

Post by blensen »

So I was looking around the interwebz to see what I could find for replacement mirrors for my 600. Everyone here says to use YZF600 mirrors, and I honestly like the square looks of them better than the stockers, but they cost a bit more than I'm willing to pay. Then I tried using a pair of cheap bar end mirrors, but they vibrate so badly that the glass on the left one is actually chipped from the tab that holds it in.

So now, without another book of writing from me, I present a third option for people who can't or won't spend my2cents for a decent set of mirrors:

I just took the stock mirrors and flipped the left to the right and vice versa. Believe it or not, it actually makes the stock mirrors usable for once.

Sorry but that's old news. I ran the stock mirrors on my old 600 that way for a while before switching to gsxr mirrors. Matter of fact I sold the 600 that way. Glad it's working out for you though.

Yeah I figured it had been done before. I actually found it on an ancient post from the archives. Can't hurt to freshen up some useful info though eh?
