Peanut/Comma Cover

Post by ballisticmonkey3 »

Hi, I have a 1994 600 and am in dire need of a right side peanut/comma cover. I've looked all over and the only one I have been able to find has been one on ebay with a company from which I ordered it from, and only ended up getting cussed at, stolen from, and ultimately, no part. So, I am still in need. Anyone know where I can find one? Sorry if this isn't the right forum for this.

if you can't find one for the fzr which i could not i used one off of a 97' YZF R6 (the carbed model) same cover. I'd look on ebay or craigslist... people part out stolen bikes alot on their.

Hi,
These items are rare perhaps our more skilled guys could come up with a moulded cover in G'fibre or Carbon Fibre or knows a small home foundry that could cast new ones and get the machined afterwards by TK, ModKing and the like.

I know that in NE USA the small foundry is very popular as they have lots of dead wood for fires & charcoal
anyone....................

Did you get a chance to look and see if you had one?

I have a cover from a YZF600 with a few scratches that should work. I've also got a Vance & Hines race cover for the FZR600. I'd let the YZF cover go for $45 + shipping. I'd sell the race cover for $80 + shipping.

Hi,
It would be better for both of you if you knew each others location , put that in each of your personal profiles
